Wait a minute!!! The holidays are around the corner! It’s the perfect time to get a few tips and tricks for the season when entertaining. Charcuterie boards are perfect for any holiday setting.

what is charcuterie?

Charcuterie boards are a major trend these days. Charcuterie is known as “the art of preparing and assembling cured meats and other meat products.” The word originally originated from France. However, charcuterie today is much more than just meats. It includes all types of finger foods as well.

The best thing about charcuterie boards is that there are no rules. It can be simple such as just with curated meats. Or you can make it fancy with fruit, crackers, bread, cheese, olives, honey and jams, and much more! When entertaining, you can have small or large platters.

Charcuterie does not have to just be classified as an appetizer. It can be made into a filling meal, especially if you do not want to cook.

PERFECT FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Charcuterie boards are easy to put together, which is perfect for holiday parties. You can make your boards aesthetically pleasing for the holidays. A winter holiday theme is great for the Christmas season. Figs, pears, clementines, and cranberries can give a board a festive, seasonal vibe.

There are many different themes that you can play around with for the remaining holidays such as for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Charcuterie boards are a great way to keep your guests grazing as they wait for Thanksgiving dinner. When making a charcuterie, it’s important to select the correct sized board to fit all of your food on. Once that is decided, then you can begin filling it with your desired foods.

  • Fresh seasonal fruit
  • Assortment of nuts
  • Assortment of crackers
  • Jams and honey

CHRISTMAS Charcuterie Board ideas

Pears and pomegranates are classified as winter fruits, which makes them perfect for the Christmas theme.  Charcuterie boards don’t have to be complex, you can add anything to make it a nice and colorful arrangement.

To add a special touch, you can add cranberries sprinkled with sugar. This board is the perfect centerpiece for a Christmas party.
