Classic Thanksgiving Tablescape

November 23, 2019

The holidays are around the corner. Today I’m sharing a simple & classic Thanksgiving tablescape. If you’ve followed along, you probably already know that I love neutral themes. So no surprises here 🙂

I’m always on the hunt for ways to spruce up a space on a dime and shopped my home for all the pieces used.

I found these really affordable chargers a couple of months ago. They are timeless and I see a lot of use in the future. The table mats are our everyday mats and worked well with the theme.

I added some faux greenery in the mix. I absolutely love these Magnolia wreaths. They are simple and elegant. I used it as part of my centerpieces on the table and the sideboard.

The olive branches were a find from a year ago, combining with short stems to complete the table centerpiece.

I used longer stems and a bay leaf garland for the bar cart. I love the way it turned out.

The us of candles on both sides of centerpiece completed the look.

I kept the sideboard simple with a few vases. My style is transitional so I mixed some modern and traditional pieces to complete the look. My favorite vase is the one with wheat. It is pretty versatile and goes with almost anything.

Here are some more pictures of the completed space. I’m very pleased with the way it turned out and look forward to our Thanksgiving dinner.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my classic thanksgiving tablescape. Thank you for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

TBT: I haven’t tackled any big projects in a whi TBT: I haven’t tackled any big projects in a while due to life in general but hoping to change that in the next few weeks. As a full time working mom doing virtual school, it is sometimes hard to do it all even with the best intentions. One of the projects I would love to work on is an accent wall in this room and give it a mini refresh. There are so many different options I have looked at including wall paper..stay tuned for updates on projects 🤞🏽

FAUX VS REAL: When it comes to plants, I like to d FAUX VS REAL: When it comes to plants, I like to do a mixture of faux and real to give a bit of balance. What do you prefer? Faux vs real and can you tell the difference.

My mom is an avid gardener and growing up we had plants everywhere for nourishment and decor. I never really learned the skill from then. This year, I had a goal of starting a garden but after the snowstorm and life getting busy, I wasn’t sure it will be a realistic one. I think I’m more scared of failing at it 😬. So I decided to scrap it but I talked to some friends the other day and they suggested it could be a good stress reliever. Catch me in stories today as I talk about my plans.

Do you own a garden or raise plants?
