MANTLE
You can slightly spook up your fireplace mantle with some simple decorations. I added some bats on the wall along with some “spooky” styled candles.
All you need are a pair of scissors and black card stock to give your space a batty transformation. Or you can buy already made bat decor pieces from your local craft and party supply store.
A pop of orange was added with the flowers to keep the colors on theme, but with not too much of a spooky feel.
SKELETON iN THE ROOM
A plastic skeleton is a popular decor piece that can be added to your space. There are many different styles of plastic skeletons such as human or animals. You can add them in different areas of your home.
This decor piece is a nice touch that will give off that spooky feel.

Spider webs are a great way to add a touch of spook to spaces without going overboard. I added spider webs to a few different areas in my home such as the front foyer.
TABLE DECOR
Adding a touch of spook to your table space is always great. I have skeleton and ghost mugs along with a skeleton food platter, which all tie into the theme quite nicely. These are simple pieces that can be reused every Halloween.
HALLOWEEN STYLED PANCAKES
It’s always fun to make different styled pancakes. Pancakes are so versatile because you can make so many designs with them. I made spider web and skeleton styles pancakes. This is a great activity that you can do with the kiddos.
You can buy pancake molds from Walmart, Target, or any other store that sells cooking essentials.
