Today I’m sharing a quick two ingredient dough recipe for National Pretzel Day. This recipe has worked well for our family and dough can be used for a ton of other yummy recipes.
Ingredients required to make a batch of dough are:
- 1 1/2 cups Self-Rising Flour
- 1/2 cup Self-Rising Flour
- 1 cup of Greek Yogurt
Put 1 1/2 cups of flour and yogurt in mixer and mix with dough hook attachment on medium speed for 3 mins until dough becomes a ball. You can also do this by hand and kneed until you get the desired consistency. I doubled up my ingredients.
I made dough ahead of time and stored it in the fridge with cling wrap sprayed with non-stick spray.
Sprinkle flour on flat surface and kneed dough
Flatten it out and cut into strips with butter knife.
Roll strips and form pretzel. I like mine thicker but you can cut into thinner strips and repeat same process.
Spray non-stick pan and place pretzels in pan and brush with melted butter.
Set oven to 425° Fahrenheit and bake for 15-17 mins until golden brown.
Let cool down. You can also also sprinkle with pretzel salt.
There are a lot of other yummy foods that can be made with this simple two dough ingredient recipe. I hope to share more in the future.
Thanks for stopping by.
